Samuli Valkama Samuli is a Helsinki-based script writer and director with a background in graphic design and animation, Through his work, he tells stories conveying positive values aiming at evoking joy in spectators of all ages. His previous work include the efficient and animated interpretation of the classic "Romeo and Juliet" - in 30 seconds. With Alright Love Samuli returns to the theme of love. The name of the film comes from a t-shirt he saw in a magazine some years ago. "I thought it looked funny and sufficiently outrageous but at the same time it was packed with emotion." He included this image in his catalogue of ideas he collects. The name was given to the film as Samuli feels that Alright Love well describes the feeling he had from this love story. The atmosphere of the film is positive, somewhat crazy and exaggerated but at the same time the basic story and its world are realistic and drawn from our everyday life. "Positivity and joy are often underestimated values. My task as a filmmaker is to bring happiness to people!" Samuli would like to express his special gratitude for the excellent First Assistant Director: Peter Altmann. Peter is a sharp and considerate professional who also is an aspiring director. peter.altmann (a-t) web.de
